We all say we want to get out of our comfort zone. But how can you really do it?
Here’s a quote I recently heard that I wanted to share…
“Inaction is a form of action. If you CHOOSE to stay in a stable, safe place instead of going for your dreams, then you’re making a CHOICE to stay stuck.
The action you’re choosing to take is no action at all.”
Isn’t that just perfect!
Because what’s really being said is that we think we are staying safe by playing small.
But the only way to get to success, growth, joy, and persistence is to do the work despite the fear.
Take small and consistent actions each day to achieve your goals in life. Be consistent. Take ACTION. Action leads to transaction.
Be consistent and persistent! Don’t always look for the next shiny object. The next new thing.
This is what separates the dreamers from the successful people out there.
Life isn’t about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself.
Trust your heart. Listen to the voice inside of you. Do the work.
Stop waiting for the right time to live your best life. The time is now, and YOU are the right person for the job.
I recently read Do The Work by Steven Pressfield and he gives you step-by-step instructions on how to overcome and conquer Resistance–the biggest enemy of them all.
This book makes it possible for anyone to go and achieve what they truly are striving for–may it be writing a book, a play, or starting a new business

Do you find yourself reading the Visitor’s Guides when we arrive at a destination?
We pick up the local visitors guides that are in the hotels, nearby restaurants or at the airports.
We discover new things that we didn’t find during our online searches.
That’s why we always get the Visitor’s Guides before we take a trip.
I knew very little about Annapolis before our driving trip began. Our east coast driving trip had already taken us to Raleigh, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Ocean City, MD and Rehoboth Beach, DE.
One thing for sure when visiting the Washington DC area is to make a stop in Annapolis –dubbed the sailing capital of the world.
Located in the heart of Chesapeake Bay, the area is rich with historical landmarks, maritime adventure, and excellent shopping. Annapolis also features some of the best places to eat on the east coast.
Aruba is called “One Happy Island” for a reason.
Aruba has perfect weather, friendly people, great restaurants, beautiful beaches, excellent shopping, and a lot of fun and adventurous activities to keep you busy.
Our first of four trips to Aruba was for our honeymoon back in 1997. It’s easy to see why we picked this idyllic spot.
